Dear friends,

My husband and I have been blessed with 12 children. Six of them are afflicted with the devastating illness Crohn’s Disease and I spend most of my time caring for them. Their medication is expensive and our health insurance covers only part of the cost, leaving us with a financial burden of thousands of shekels every month.

My husband had to stop working when he suffered a massive heart attack – he has undergone eight angiograms. I have managed to find myself a job so that I can support our family, but my salary does not even begin to cover the costs of medication for my husband and the children, transportation to and from doctors and hospital appointments, and the special diet that Crohn’s patients need. I am not sure how much longer I can manage.

Only Chai L’Adam gives me the strength to wake up in the morning. They have helped with my family’s medical expenses and they are there to listen and support me. Their volunteers are truly Angels of Hashem, and I bless them and those who support them. I know that other families with problems worse than ours are also desperately in need of support, and I pray that this evening you will find it in your hearts to help all of us as much as you can.
